Today's Deep Thought
When a discussion turns to the subject of helping people, it amazes me that there's always someone in the group who will take the most contemptibly un-generous position towards others.
If helping legitimately needful people means a few lazy jerks get a bit of a free ride, so what? How is that worse than choosing to do nothing, knowing you're deliberately making so many people suffer?
