There's a weird mixture of Logical Fallacies in Qult45 politics, and Trump has mastered the technique of laying out baseless assertions, moving fast enough to create the chaff effect, and then trying to close the deal with something like "You'd have to be stupid not to agree."

• "Many people say..." = Band Wagon Fallacy
• "I can't imagine why it wouldn't be true..." = Argument From ignorance
• "If they investigated and found nothing then they must be incompetent or evil" = Ad Hominem

He never says there's good evidence. He never presents evidence. He makes assertions - that he's had handed to him because he surrounds himself with shit-lickers.

And it seems to go on like that forever.

Trump "succeeds" because he sounds like practically every online commenter on every website where people are absolutely sure their expertise is equal to, or far surpasses, that of any credentialed professional because it only took these asshats 3 years to memorize 'google', and they watched 2 or 3 hours of poorly crafted YouTube videos posted by various random trolls they can really relate to because they all barely managed a C-minus average in high school.

I keep telling myself the rubes are not the majority, but the sheer volume of their incessant screeching has been drowning out the real voices of real Americans who are not the assholes those loudmouth jagoffs are making us appear to be.

BTW, Raffensperger's office told WaPo that they decided to record the call because they didn't record the call they got from Lindsey Graham, who "suggested" the same kind of criminal misdeeds.

When we find out there are still a few Republicans willing to behave honorably,
