There's been good news about fighting the monster - a 3rd vaccine, companies working together to ramp up manufacturing capacity, lower cases numbers, they're getting closer to passing the bill that puts up more money for the states' efforts, etc - but this would be a very bad time to let down your guard.

A false sense of security leads to laxity in vigilance, which leads to more sick people, which leads to more dead people.
