Today's Today

After a ten-year absence, the two-dollar bill was reissued, released on April 13th, 1976.

To commemorate the event, somebody (from Tennessee I'm guessing), put a stamp on his souvenir and went all the way to Charlottesville (Jefferson's quasi hometown) to have the Post Master cancel it for them.

Happy birthday to one of the more interesting people who played a big part in the founding of USAmerica Inc.
