October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
What is Vance trying to say here? Unhappy - even totally miserable - women need to stay in unhappy - even abusive &/or violent - relationships, because if they just stick with it a little while longer, some amazingly magic thing will happen, turning that frown upside down, and making them not at all miserable, and then they can raise perfectly normal healthy children?
WTF is wrong with these fuckin' people that makes them think they can sustain this grift forever?
People will get wise. They'll eventually see this for what it is - Vance's attempt to polish this turd with smarmy sales-ey bullshit.
And he knows it's all crap, but he dives into it like he thinks his "superior intellect" will somehow convince people he's not a cynical manipulative asshole.
