Together

Americans have come to regard the word "collective" as a vulgar, unworkable concept.

But this country doesn't exist if not for the collective actions of the founders, and the governments that came after the founding - governments that got us together to talk, and to haggle, and to argue - and when necessary, to fight.

As long as we allow the plutocrats to keep us separated from one another, they'll continue to take away everything we need to live decent, successful, and fulfilling lives.

We have to get together.
