This election could very well be like turning on the kitchen light, and seeing all the cockroaches scurry back under the dishwasher. We've seen it over and over - Republicans take power and push to dismantle everything that created the strength of an American middle class that was 2nd-to-none. Then, when people wise up a little and elect Democrats, the Republicans don't go away, they just switch modes and start up their whisper campaigns and their hardcore fantasy narratives.
So don't make the same mistake we made in 2021, when we all seemed just to breathe a little sigh of relief, expecting everything to go back to normal.
The "normal" we're looking for has to be a very different thing now.
