How Is The Water On Fire?

We used to do this in Earth Science lab at Oberon Jr High. Run a tube from the gas outlet under the water in the sink and then light the bubbles. Didn't look like this though.

And I think maybe this a tiny bit more serious.

  1. Great Googly-Mooglie!

If I saw this in a movie I would declare the scene too fake to countenance. But ... there it is. The ocean on fire looking like a phantasmagorical depiction of a cinematic hell.

We, humanity (and free-market capitalism) doesn't seem to get many things right. But, OTOH, the fuck-ups are getting more visually interesting. I didn't know you could do that on salt water.
