  1. I suppose it is expected that those are Mexicans crossing into the US. But are we sure? Given recent developments they might be Texans looking for a better life in Mexico.

    Either way, at around 30 million dollars a mile, that wall is a failure. Most such barriers are going to be because their design vastly underestimates the diligence, imagination, creativity, and determination of those seeking to cross. They are not easily discouraged. These are not people who see a big wall, give up on the idea of crossing, and go home to have a good long sulk and pout.
