Paranoid Mike says - yup.
(Ivana Trump died of ‘blunt impact injuries,’ medical examiner says)
When the cause of death is nonspecific 'blunt trauma to the torso' — when the mechanism of injury is falling down stairs, but there are:

No broken wrists?
No broken ankles?
No broken neck?
No head trauma?
No toxicology?
No witnesses?
You may be selling it, but I'm not buying.
It does seem odd. But most of what i know about how people falls down stairs comes from stuntmen and dummies in movies. The few times I've actually done it I learned next to nothing, I was far too busy tying not to break my neck to observe the nuances.
ReplyDeleteI had a dormie walk into a traffic control bollard and it damn-near killed him. Walking fast he folded over it and it caught him waist-high. He seemed okay at first but then, a few minutes later he lost power, turned white and had trouble remaining conscious. An out-of-work EMT friend got alarmed when he noticed the symptoms we were laughing off. It was all so random. He wisely persuaded us to pick him up bodily and carry him the block to a nearby hospital.
At first, seeing a bunch of college-age guys, and smelling beer, they blew us off figuring it was drunken follies. Our EMT friend started yelling and a nurse, just to make us happy, took his vitals. As I remember it the combination of sky-high pulse, blood pressure very low, and abdomen rigid got everyone moving. In two minutes he was on a stretcher and on his way to emergency surgery.
He had ruptured his spleen and if we had delayed another few minutes he would have died.
The human body is a paradox. People recover from multiple gunshot wounds, extreme falls, and other massive injuries but a minor stumble over a bollard that didn't even draw blood ... almost fatal.
But yes, that death, given its nature, and who she has as enemies, needs to be investigated thoroughly.
Yup - sometimes an accident is just an accident. But nobody has to like it when those accidents seem a little too convenient.
DeleteAnd mostly, I just hate the feeling that every bad thing that happens has to raise a certain level of suspicion in the minds of reasonable people. All this Intrigue-At-The-Palace shit needs to stop.
Thanks for the visit, btw.
