Let's be clear on this. If Trump decides to run in 2028 - even if he runs unopposed as either a Republican or an Independent - he loses by default.

Every vote cast for Trump can be disregarded, because votes for an ineligible candidate don't count. And there's a high probability that enough states will keep him off the ballot to preclude him from getting the Electoral Votes he'd need to win anyway.

So say it - proud and out loud.

Donald Trump will leave office at noon on January 20, 2029.
