Plutocracy rising.
A fully coin-operated government is one of the main goals of this latest iteration of the Daddy State.
They're intending to strip down the government to three main functions:
- Defend commercial interests abroad
- Keep the domestic rabble in line
- Settle contract disputes
That's it - everything else is strictly Fee-For-Service. And of course, we need to leave the way open for "entrepreneurs" to step in and sell us "insurance" against the disasters that their fuckery is already causing.
And won't it be so fucking peachy when the fire departments and emergency services are run by the Suits and the Bean Counters, the same way health insurance is being run now. Where they'll have almost as many people working to deny your claims as they do people who're supposed to be saving your ass from the hurricanes and wildfires.
Yup - gonna be loads of fun.
