Nothing about America is good - everything is bad - so America is a shithole country.
Trump tells us how awful everything is here in USAmerica Inc, and since everything Trump says is some sort of projection, it's not unreasonable to assume he's actually talking about how he intends to turn us into the fucked up place he says this country is. And he can count on the rubes to assume he's talking about making life miserable for everybody but them.
I'm sorry we've gotten ourselves into the unbelievably shitty spot where we have to accept the practicability of that kind of totally fucked up False Equivalence - but here we are. We have to learn how to deal with it, and (hopefully) turn it to our advantage.
