It doesn't happen like it does in a movie - or how we learned about "The Crash" in school.
This country is really strong, in spite of what we've been hearing. So it takes a long time to tear it all down.
And the catastrophic failure that may, in fact, be coming our way, is not here yet. The fall could certainly be accelerated by some big event that seems to come out of the blue, or there could be any number of things that we already know about that happen in concert. Or whatever.
I don't claim to know, and I seriously believe nobody does. We're all in it together, and we all have to do what we can to prepare for it - hoping it's not as bad as some are saying it'll be.
How's that for a rosy 'good morning' on this fine Monday?
