Looking at what Boomers and GenXers have been saying to the youngsters point by point:
- you'll have to hold multiple jobs
- you'll never be able to buy a house
- or a new car
- there are no paid vacations in your future
- no healthcare insurance
- no sick days
- no paid holidays
- no overtime pay
- you'll always be short on groceries
- you won't have a savings plan
- you won't have kids even if you want them
- no retirement cuz Social Security and Medicare are gonna disappear
- your future holds practically nothing but immiseration and death
And then we sit around and bitch about how nobody wants to work anymore.
