Podcast
Celebrating their 5 millionth listen this week.
Some Takeaways:
- Nobody should have to feel they're being pressured into becoming an expert on the vagaries of insurance coverage just so they don't get ripped off down the road when they have a medical problem that requires their undivided attention on things other than their fucking insurance coverage.
- We don't have to live like this
- Listen for the narrative of any given candidate

Bob And Andrea
Bob Cesca talks with Andrea Chalupa:
We don't realize just how easy it is for the plutocrats to dismantle the institutions that we've always counted on to stop the plutocrats from dismantling our institutions.
Checks-n-Balances is not a mechanism that we can set and forget. It's a process that requires constant attention.

Pick(s) of the litter so far:
Here's a new ad from Republicans for the Rule of Law--"Obstruction of Justice" -- up on social media now and on television this weekend. pic.twitter.com/mssGzLqgzH— Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) April 18, 2019
From a guy who's seen it all:
Former WH counsel John Dean: “I looked on my shelf for the Senate Watergate Committee report, I looked at the Iran Contra report. I also looked at the Ken Starr report … In 400 words, this report from the special counsel is more damning than all those reports about a President." pic.twitter.com/9WuUaicKvt— The Lead CNN (@TheLeadCNN) April 18, 2019
"...a culture of lying..."
Why can’t @PressSec acknowledge what we all know; that she’s a lying sack of shit. https://t.co/mwXl1mDWIm— Claude Taylor (@TrueFactsStated) April 19, 2019
In less than 24 hours, it's gone from "total exoneration" to "the crazy Mueller Report".
Statements are made about me by certain people in the Crazy Mueller Report, in itself written by 18 Angry Democrat Trump Haters, which are fabricated & totally untrue. Watch out for people that take so-called “notes,” when the notes never existed until needed. Because I never....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 19, 2019
No one around the President trusts the President not to abuse his power and they all have to act constantly to prevent him from doing so.— Chris Hayes (@chrislhayes) April 18, 2019
And the big question - the really big one: Who exactly is Bill Barr working for?
The basic rationalization Barr gives for why Trump didn’t legally obstruct justice is that he was emotionally upset about being accused of potential crimes and bad media coverage and acted out. That’s the actual argument the Attorney General of the United States made.— Sam Stein (@samstein) April 18, 2019
